Plant-based Cookbooks - my faves
When I first went vegan, I was a bit lost as to how to fill my plates. I wanted the food to be healthy, easy to prepare, and kid friendly. This has developed into a bit of a cookbook addiction. Here are some of my favourites.
Deliciously Ella
Ella is near and dear to my heart. Hers was the first vegan cookbook I purchased. The book brought me in because she had a lot of ingredients that I already liked. She has developed an empire that includes prepared foods and pantry staples. She has multiple books. I have them almost all and go back to her recipes again and again.
Bad Manners
Formerly Thug Kitchen, Bad Manners books boast simple recipes, easy to find ingredients, and delicious dishes. Also, their foul mouthed sense of humour is sure to make you smile. I have two of their four cookbooks and can’t wait to buy their latest one. I also go back to their recipes again and again.
Smith & Daughters
This duo out of Australia have mouthwatering to die for recipes. I have two of their cookbooks and all of the recipes are crowd pleasers. Vegans and non vegans alike are fans of their flavours.
How not to Die Cookbook
This cookbook goes with the super popular Dr. Michael Greger’s How not to Die book. None of the recipes have salt or oil but they are super tasty. If you or a loved one has heart disease, diabetes, etc. this is a must have.
Help Yourself Cookbook for Kids
I was gifted this book by a dear friend whose whole family is vegan. It is full of great, delicious, and simple to follow recipes that pleases both kids and adults.
Where to buy?
I’ve bought most of these books from Book Depository. I buy pretty much all of my books there. Good prices and free worldwide shipping. (Not an Ad)
